TiARA representatives attended the Ku-ring-gai Council “Festival on the Green” for a second-year.

TiARA representatives, Melanie Burk and Sheryl van Nunen, attended the Ku-ring-gai Council “Festival on the Green” for a second-year on Sunday. This is one of the biggest family-friendly events for the Ku-ring-gai area with approximately 15,000 people coming along to enjoy a fantastic day of fun, food and entertainment despite windy and rainy weather. TiARA would like to thank Kathy Kai (Community Environmental Officer) and David Towns (Environmental Levy Program Leader, Strategy and Environment) from Ku-ring-gai Council, for their kind invitation to have TiARA representatives attend. It was a busy time with a large number of families receiving education regarding the prevention and management of tick bites. Correct removal techniques were also demonstrated. TiARA will continue to have representatives present at further upcoming community markets, expos and fairs throughout 2019.
